We celebrate 65 years of being present in the lives of thousands of Valle del Cauca families, reaffirming our superior purpose of continuing to transform and accompany the growth, well-being, and development of our affiliates and companies in the region.
A whole history with a deep social sense with which we have achieved that more than 800 thousand affiliates that today are part of the Family Compensation Fund and the EPS Delagente, access comprehensive services that guarantee high levels of well-being, protection and happiness in families as diverse and heterogeneous as those from Valle del Cauca.
Little by little, our history was woven from the year 1957 when we began operations with the linking of 141 companies and 1,311 affiliated workers. An organizational challenge that guided us to visualize that we were not only made to allocate and pay subsidies, but that our essence was marked by a great know-how that has been shaped by more than 65 years, making us creators and multipliers of well-being.
It is 65 years in which Comfenalco Valle Delagente has received with optimism, commitment and dedication to service all the social changes that are advancing at extraordinary speeds, adapting our services to the needs of users, always understanding that the family is the center of love and that through it social welfare survives, is maintained and evolves.
Our affiliates, their families and businessmen, have witnessed the transforming power of the Family Subsidy System through Comfenalco Valle Delagente, we have built a great social capital that keeps us firm, focusing on the affiliated population with lower economic income that integrates the categories A and B and that today represents the 90% with more than 513 thousand people, who have access to services and programs that contribute to improve the quality of life and fill the soul and heart through memorable experiences.
We are proud to be part of the solution by closing social gaps and being allies of the National Government in the implementation of services and programs that are directly aligned to the well-being of thousands of anonymous people who have benefited from the Family Compensation Fund. , providing them with alternatives to make decisions tailored to their needs and interests.
65 years have elapsed in which we have been present at all times in the lives of members. From the accompaniment of the pregnant mother and the protection of the newborn, in the school stage through our educational institutes where we seek to train committed citizens and leaders of social transformation.
We have also been facilitators of personal and professional growth through the job training center, we support and protect unemployed people and accompany them in the search for new opportunities, and we feel full when an affiliate and his family achieve the dream of own home.
It has been 65 years of work providing cultural spaces, libraries and recreational centers to strengthen family ties and use free time. And without a doubt, we have been present in the best moments of the affiliates, taking care of them and protecting them in their years of greatest experience.
