Unemployment insurance

(Law 1636 of 2013)

Unemployment Insurance (Law 1636 of 2013) is a strategy of the Government and the Family Compensation Funds to alleviate the effects of unemployment, this consists of a free benefit, which seeks to provide protection to the unemployed person and his family for the loss of their income, this works as a work benefit that is activated when you lose your job.

  1. Payment of health contributions (Contribution base on 1 SMLV)
  2. Pension payment (Contribution base on 1 SMLV)
  3. Payment of monetary installment * (If applicable) for each beneficiary who is financially dependent on the unemployed person for a value of $39,692

All these benefits are granted for a maximum period of 3 months (while the state of economic, ecological and social emergency stipulated in Decree 770 of 2020 lasts).

  1. Being currently unemployed for any reason and not having any source of income. o Have made contributions a continuous or discontinuous year to a Family Compensation Fund during the last three years for dependents and two
    continuous or discontinuous years in the last three years for independents.
  2. Register with the authorized Employment Agency belonging to the employment service network and develop the Employability route
  3. Carry out a training program to which it will be referred by the Employment Agency and comply with the terms provided by the regulations of the National Government
  • Certificate of Contributions to the Compensation Fund, where you certify the employment history (Date of entry, Date of Retirement) and if you received family subsidy, attach the name and document of the beneficiaries. The above only if your quotation has been made in a Box different from that of Comfenalco Valle delagente.
  • Photocopy of the applicant's citizenship card.
  • Certificate of termination of the last employment relationship or contract (date of entry, date of retirement, salary and position held.
  • Certificate of registration to the Public Employment Service (This can be downloaded on the platform  www.serviciodeempleo.gov.co ) once your resume is completed at 100%.
  • Pension and EPS Certificate (No more than 5 calendar days).
  • Withdrawal Certificate from the EPS where it is specified if you are in a RETIRED, SUBSIDIZED, BENEFICIARY or LABOR PROTECTION status. (This certificate is issued directly in the EPS, at the time of delivery of the documentation, the certificate should not be more than 5 days old).

    * No documentation will be received if the EPS certificate has an ACTIVE LISTING status or FULL COVERAGE.

  • Fill out the unique application form for the Unemployed Protection Mechanism (At the time of requesting the benefit by email, it will be sent to you in PDF by the same means, for its respective completion).
  • If you were receiving child benefit, you must submit:
  • Civil registration of your children (0 to 7 years).
  • Identity card (8 years and older).
  • Schooling certificate (12 years and older).
  • If you received family allowance for parents over 60 years of age, you must present:
    • Photocopy of the parents' identity card.
    • Civil registry of the applicant.

  • Obtaining a job or source of income. In this case, you must immediately notify the Family Compensation Fund to apply the novelty.
  • Application to more than one Family Compensation Fund.
  • In the event of fraud or falsehood in the information provided to the Family Compensation Fund.
  • For breaching article 14 of Law 1636 of 2013.
  • In case of voluntary resignation.

    Note that:
    In any case, it will be the sole responsibility of the unemployed person to inform the Family Compensation Fund about any novelty of change of conditions, under penalty of loss of benefit and the obligation to return what was unduly paid, without prejudice to criminal and civil liability. that on the occasion of said omission is foreseen in the ordinance.
  • Contributions to Health, Pension: Overdue month, the first twelve (7) business days of each month, however, the unemployed person will have health coverage from the first business day of the month after the benefit assignment date. Example: If the beneficiary was approved and notified on May 1, their affiliation to social security will apply from that same day, but the payment to the entities will be made overdue, that is, within 7 business days of June.
  • Monetary Quota Benefit (When applicable): Overdue month, last week of the month (day 26). Example: If the beneficiary was approved and notified on May 1, their first monetary installment payment will apply on June 26.
  • The reactivation of unemployment insurance will only apply to users who partially received the benefit and it was suspended.

  • If the user is again unemployed, you can request the reactivation to the following email:  fosfec@comfenalcovalle.com.co , by means of a message in which you must provide your basic data (name, ID and telephone number), and you must also attach the letter of termination of employment (most recent). With this information the area
    will proceed to perform the validation and if you meet the requirements, you will be notified by email of the status of your reactivation.

    Note that:
    If the reactivation is approved, only the remaining resources that apply will be disbursed, according to the defined time of the benefit. Likewise, the reactivation applies as long as the last contributions to the Compensation Fund, the company has made to Comfenalco Valle delagente.

Emergency allowance

(Decree 488 and 770 of 2020)

  1. Dismissed dependent or independent workers
  2. That they have been affiliated to a Family Compensation Fund in categories A and B (*) It is important that this process be carried out in the last Family Compensation Fund to which they were affiliated at the time they were laid off
  3. Who have made contributions to a Family Compensation Fund during one (1) continuous or discontinuous year in the last five (5) years
  4. Workers who do not receive an old-age, disability or survivorship pension


Note: Those who are already receiving the benefits of the Solidarity Fund of Promotion of Employment and Protection of the Unemployed - FOSFEC will continue to receive them in the same conditions in which they were granted

  • As established in Decree 770 of 2020 (Article 7), the duration of the benefit will be up to a maximum of 3 months.
  • Workers with suspension of contract and unpaid leave
  • People who are currently receiving or have received the benefit of the Unemployment Protection Mechanism under the terms of Law 1636 of 2013 in the last three (3) years
  • Payment of two (2) SMMLV ($1.817.052) divided into three (3) monthly payments ($605.684)
  • Payment of the monetary installment for each beneficiary who is economically dependent on the unemployed person for the amount of $39,692, paid monthly for three 3 months. (as long as it applies).
  • Payment of social security in health and pensions calculated on an SMLMV, paid monthly for three (3) months (This payment is made Month Overdue)
  • Have been a dependent and independent worker
  • Being unemployed at the time of the issuance of Decree 770 of 2020 or while the events that gave rise to the emergency declaration last
  • Have made contributions during (12) months, continuous or discontinuous in the last five (5) years in case of having been a dependent or independent worker
  • Your last CCF membership was category A or B
  • Not having been a beneficiary of the Unemployment Protection Mechanism under the terms of Law 1636 of 2013, in the last three (3) years
  • The unemployed must apply to the last Family Compensation Fund where they made the contributions
  • Photocopy of the applicant's citizenship card
  • Eps and Pension Certificate.
  • Certification on work stoppage for dependent workers.
  • For freelancers:

    (*) The independent workers, the certification of cessation will be understood as the statement that they make under an affidavit in this regard in the single application form (*) The contractors must present the certification of cessation which is equivalent to the proof of termination of the contract issued by the contracting party or the contract termination certificate.

  • If the user belongs to any of the following health entities, they must complete the affiliation process (only when approval has been notified): Salud Total EPS, Sanitas EPS, Asmet Salud, Coosalud EPS, Sura EPS, Mutual Ser EPS, Compensar EPS and Ambuq EPS.

It is important that the user takes into account that these benefits are aimed at the unemployed population, therefore, in the event of establishing a new employment relationship or the provision of services, of carrying out some remunerated activity as a dependent or independent or has a direct source of income, in accordance with the provisions of the paragraph of article 7 of Resolution 853 of 2020, it will be the sole responsibility of the unemployed person, to report this news, under penalty of loss of benefit and the obligation to return what was unduly paid , without prejudice to the criminal and civil liability that on the occasion of said omission is provided for in the ordinance.

If the user received a notification requesting reimbursement of economic benefits, it is because it was identified that at the time he was active in the benefit, he was also linked to work (without informing Comfenalco Valle), the case is susceptible to review, so you can request a validation by writing to the email: Seguroaldesempleo@comfenalcovalle.com.co, the case will be reviewed and it will be validated if an exemption or ratification of the collection applies, it is important to specify that the user can make the total refund of the debt, or access a flexible payment agreement, through which a monthly payment can be made to the debt.

Training

(Law 1636 of 2013)

  1. To access training it is essential to be currently unemployed.
  2. For dependents, you must have contributed 1 continuous or discontinuous year to a compensation fund in the last 3 years and for independent persons 2 continuous or discontinuous years in the last 3 years in any compensation fund.

Para acceder a las vacantes que tiene la Agencia de Empleo Comfenalco Valle Delagente debes ingresar a la página web www.comfenalcovalle.com.co/agencia-de-empleo , en el botón de VACANTES, en el cual encontrarás las vacantes disponibles para nuestros usuarios.


Posteriormente deberá diligenciar el formulario único de postulación (Este solo se debe diligenciar 1 sola vez), el cual se encontrará de acuerdo al sector de interés o la ciudad donde resida o desee laborar.

Una vez realizado este proceso, será contactado por el personal de la Agencia de Empleo quien se encargará de orientarlo en todo el proceso de remisión a la empresa que requiere personal con su perfil.

Los tiempos de contacto dependen única y exclusivamente de la empresa solicitante, esto teniendo en cuenta que la Agencia de Empleo cumple un rol de intermediador, entre la Empresa y el buscador de empleo.

También es determinante para el contacto con el usuario la pertinencia de su perfil frente a lo requerido por la empresa y los criterios de esta para la selección de personal.

El proceso de selección y contratación es realizado por la empresa solicitante, por lo cual será esta quien le dará al postulante la información correspondiente a la continuidad en el proceso.

La Agencia de Empleo de Comfenalco Valle Delagente no es la empresa contratante, teniendo en cuenta que hace las veces de intermediador entre las empresas solicitantes del perfil y los usuarios buscadores de empleo.
