Older Adult: Healthy Living

Promote the implementation of sports, educational and recreational activities that contribute to the well-being of the elderly population affiliated with our Fund, generating meeting spaces and opportunities for personal development and social integration that respond to the needs of this population. 

Seniors 60 years and older.

30 people per month.

Promote cognitive stimulation for older adults, through artistic activities (plastic arts, music and theater), which are aimed at enhancing basic learning devices (memory, language, attention, concentration) and which contribute to the maintenance of healthy lifestyle habits. .

Encourage directed physical activities, focused on the active participation of older adults in sports experiences (dance therapy, aquatherapy, yoga), aimed at the establishment of sport as an educational instrument that allows consolidating self-care behaviors and healthy physical maintenance

Promote inclusive adaptive behaviors such as Self-knowledge, Empathy, Assertive Communication, Interpersonal Relations, Problem and conflict management through didactic, participatory and experiential workshops; highlighting those pleasant and enriching experiences that favor human development and the establishment of links.

7 months.

The program lasts for 7 months (February - August) and registrations will be made monthly. With the registration according to the value of their category, the older adult will have the right to attend 3 Wednesdays a month from 8 am to 12 pm (4 Hours). Sports activities will be held from 8 am to 10 am and Educational Activities from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm (These activities include materials). And one Friday of each month they will participate in the recreational activity that will take place in one of the recreational centers of the box (This activity includes Transportation and snacks).

Adults over 60 years of age and older.
