Las empresas que contraten personas veteranas de las Fuerzas Armadas entre los 18 y 40 años, no tendrán que realizar los aportes a la Caja de Compensación Familiar, por dichos trabajadores durante los dos primeros años de vinculación. Ley 1979 de 2019, Decreto 1346 de 2020.

They have the right to:

Recreation services, social tourism and training of the Family Compensation Fund during the first three (3) years of association. As of the fourth (4) year, they enjoy all the services, programs and subsidies of the Family Subsidy System in accordance with current regulations.

The employer may access this benefit by meeting the following requirements:

1.
Increase the number of workers in relation to those that were cut off on December 31 of the previous year.
2.
Increase the value of the payroll in relation to what it had as of December 31 of the immediately previous year. The value of the payroll must be increased by an amount greater than the increase in the Consumer Price Index of the previous year certified by the National Department of Statistics - DANE.
3.
At the time of registering the new dependent workers for whom the exemption will be effective, you must state that you meet the requirements to access the benefit, presenting the information contained in the Integrated Contribution Settlement Form (PILA) for the month of December of the immediately preceding year and the month in which you want to make the new link or the one that takes its place. Said statement shall be understood to be made under the gravity of the oath, in accordance with article 10 of Decree 2150 of 1995, modified by article 7 of Decree 019 of 2012.
4.
Present the certification of accreditation as a Veteran of the Public Force in accordance with Law 1979 of 2019.
