From now on, adults over 60 have their own program at the Comfenalco Valle Delagente Recreation Centers: the Senior Club, which will operate on Wednesdays and Fridays from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
This new initiative includes various sports, cultural, wellness and gerontological monitoring activities; among which stand out: aerorumba, yoga, tai chi, adapted swimming, pre-sports games, mixed painting, oil painting, reading, mental agility, functional, cardiovascular and skeletal muscle work.
"It is important to highlight that our older adults are an important part of society, they are transmitters of wisdom and experience, for this reason we have activities specially designed for them for their well-being and support, through the Senior Club," said Diego Mauricio Valderrama, Comfenalco Valle Delagente Sports Coordinator.
The Recreation Centers where the program will take place are:
- Cali: Club Cañasgordas Recreational and Sports Center.
- Palmira: Parque del Sur Urban Recreation Center.
- Buga: Club Guadalajara Recreational and Sports Center.
- Tuluá: Club La Rivera Recreational and Sports Center.
- Cartago: Hotel and Recreational Center Villasol.
- Buenaventura: Comfamar Recreational Center.
