Positive social balance for $760,236 million pesos during the year 2021 presented by Comfenalco Valle Delagente

With a positive social balance equivalent to $760,236 million pesos, The Comfenalco Valle Delagente Family Compensation Fund closed in 2021, becoming one of the best allies to generate well-being and progress for families and the productive sector of the department. This was revealed in the Sixty-fifth Ordinary General Assembly of Affiliates, where a balance of the services offered in the areas of recreation, education, housing, employment, tourism, health and credit was delivered.

The Board of Directors and the General Director stated that during 2021 the Fund achieved the figure of 308,835 affiliated workers, benefiting the lives of more than 565,232 people between workers and their family group. Thanks to the trust placed by the industries that arrived in the region, the number of affiliated companies in 2020 went from 12,882 to 13,682 in 2021, highlighting the involvement of workers from the service, software, information technology, and agribusiness sectors. and trade.

The contribution of the contribution of social benefit of labor origin made by the companies affiliated to the Family Compensation Fund amounted to $270,599 million pesos, 7.7% more than in the year 2020.

The Fund paid 2,058,942 monetary installments of the family subsidy in money, equivalent to $81,068 million pesos (9.5% more than in 2020).

On the other hand, through the Virtual Branch, more than 265,296 effective affiliations were self-managed, making face-to-face attention in the Registration and Contribution modules go from 61,400 people attended in 2020, to 44,767 in 2021.

With their own resources from the Social Interest Housing Fund (FOVIS), 1,145 households managed to fulfill their dream of having their own home. The value assigned in subsidies was $30,985 million pesos. For construction on its own site and improvement, housing subsidies were allocated for more than $1,700 million pesos for 58 urban and rural homes.

 

Regarding social credit, 1,694 were granted for a value of 1TP3Q13,896 million pesos, as an alternative to meet the needs of workers and their families.

The request for social credit was strengthened electronically, from the subsidy advance line, 752 members of categories A and B benefited with $483 million pesos for school expenses and purchase of computer equipment. Through the payroll modality, 942 credits were granted for 1TP3Q13,413 million pesos for portfolio purchase and free investment.

Through the Employment Agency, the profile of 37,806 people was sent to companies that were looking for human talent. 14,090 vacancies were registered and 9,419 people were placed in a new job opportunity. 13,000 people registered on the website to receive advice in the stages of job application.

In an agreement with the Mayor's Office of Cali and its Secretariat of Economic Development, more than 320 people from Cali, between the ages of 18 and 43, began classes to improve their B1 level of English, within the framework of the "Cali Open to Work" program. .

In support of the family economy, $10,206 million pesos were assigned to 4,055 unemployed people, as part of the emergency subsidy benefit (Decree 770 of 2020).

EPS Delagente's income exceeded $424,800 million pesos. In 2021, more health services were provided to 246,908 users affiliated with the Health Benefits Plan (PBS), while the Complementary Health Plan achieved 4,893 beneficiaries. The activities carried out at the Clínica Nueva de Cali grew by 24.2%, from 325,817 to 404,805, (increase in the provision of services in the adult ICU and the General Hospitalization Functional Unit). Regarding vaccination to prevent Covid-19, coverage of the population affiliated with the EPS Delagente of 83% was achieved in stage 1; 85% in stage 2; 78% in stage 3; 68% in stage 4 and 57% for stage 5.

At the end of 2021, more than 123,000 members had access to social services in formal and informal education, culture, library, and education for work, of which 76,891 belong to categories A and B.

With more than 24,000 students enrolled, the PEC DELAGENTE continues to educate for work and human development through technical labor programs, diplomas, continuing education courses and training in English.

In education, more than 50,000 affiliates accessed the "Delagente Agenda at home", a virtual, agile and innovative option. With the Library, more than 40,538 users were reached and more than 30,500 people enjoyed the programming of the Traveling Library.

In Recreation, Entertainment and Sports, strategies were consolidated that made it possible to offer 409,069 people a wide portfolio of services with subsidized rates for 329,343 members of categories A and B and, promotional rates, for category C.

More than 121,000 users visited their own Recreational Centers (83,640 from categories A and B). In the day service, 13,404 people took part in comprehensive programs for family fun. A total of 13,078 people visited the Yanaconas Hotels in Cali, Villasol in Cartago and Comfamar in La Bocana.

With the sports Academies, 8,695 children and young people benefited, of which 6,026 belong to categories A and B. Also, 120 older adults took part in the Senior Club Program to promote a healthy lifestyle.

In this way, Comfenalco Valle Delagente continues to strengthen its social work and expand its services for the benefit of its affiliates, their families and, in general, the entire Valle del Cauca community.
